Feeling silly?







Its' probably a moot point my my complete underwhelmdedness about Shenton was totally reinforced tonight. Shenton will have to Wait until Senior is 45 years old before he can even get close to him.



Senior dominated Shenton in a manner I have rarely seen. I know Hall got 5 tries and lots of players played well but M.O.M. by a country mile.

my god this bit is bang on!! Never has a truer word been said!! Senior has out played shenton and atkins as if they were under 9's!!

I've been saying this for about 3-4 months, would be totally deserved. You could say it was a reward for a great career but in truth he deserves it just for this season. He's been absolutely brilliant and it makes a mockery of those who said he was on the decline.

In some ways Keith's consistency counts against him - he's played at such a high standard for the last 10 years that he slips under the radar as a MoS contender. would be nice (and well deserved) to see him win one before the end of his career.



Of course it'll probably just go to a saints player again.

I thought the first criteria for winning Man of Steel was "must wear red vee"

I definately think Senior should be at least considered if not be awarded man of steel this year. He always plays well and sets up the play on either side of him. I don't see what everyone has against him... everybody drops the ball but when he does it it's the worst thing ever!



Whoever it is has got to be better than James Graham he hasn't done anything at all even last season when he got it no one could understand why!

By all means put forward keith's credentials for MOS but some silly comments about Graham here who is the hardest working player in the comp and the 3rd best prop (behind Peacock and Morley)

As much as I dislike Graham he's nearly 1000 metres in front of any other ball carrier this season!!!!

I was going to respond to the Graham comment but didn't want to bite on such a ridiculous statement.

It would be interesting though to compare Graham's on field minutes to Peacock's though.

It’s a shame that it takes a game like this for him to get recognised by the majority. But me and my mate talk about him week in week out and really admire his performances throughout this season. Just because it hasn’t been said on here it doesn’t mean its been mentioned elsewhere!







When James Roby was crowned man of steel he took what little credibility it had left. How Barrett didn’t get man of steel that season is beyond me.
