As long as the ‘Old School Tie’ brigade resides in the controlling positions at the Beeb then Rugby League will always be the poorer relation.
Doing away with the licence fee will in turn bring a commercially driven organisation which will require a dynamic change of management at Aunties house but whilst they have billions of unearned public pounds at their disposal they’ll continue with their ‘Jobs for the boys’ recruitment criteria.
I dislike the organisation with a passion and truly resent paying the Licence Fee.

 Total Agreement LS16. My old man worked for auntie for 25 years and you wouldn't believe the money they pour down the drain. Mind you,at a local level I can't fault them,on the radio at least. |

Do you really believe that ITV provides better broadcast fare than the BBC?
Do you really believe that ITV is free?
Are you prepared to pay Sky type subscriptions - in my case about £700 annually compared with £ 170 for the BBC?
The BBC is by no means perfect but it is better than most other providers across the globe that I've seen.
You clearly want a diet of crap reality shows & you probably deserve them.
