Does anyone else think Watkins should have played today? Gibson has some good skills, and he's a clever player, but he just doesn't have the physical attributes (pace, size, power) to be a top SL centre. Yes Watkins is young and some parts of his game are raw but he offers the team another dimension that is really needs at the moment in attack.

Today proved that we havent adequately replaced Toopi and Ellis.

And Toopi only reached the heady heights of average. Last time we had threat on the right was with Chev Walker and Calderwood in 2004/5.

IMO Donald should be put back on the left wing hall on the right. buy Gleeson and then we might have an attacking back line

watkins will do me. he has to learn and is better than anything we have at the minute.perhaps smith to right wing next to him will be better?

That depends if bluey is gonna stick with him at centre and donald on the right wing!!

This is how i hope we will Line Up from now on with Kallum Watkins on the Interchange bench, Ashley Gibson for me just isn't good enough, Physically he isn't strong enough to break through a defence (Senior) and he doesn't have a good turn off pace or the ability to step through and creat something out of nothing (Watkins)...

Have said it all along Gibson offers absoloutly nothing in attack or defence.

he has shown zero for reserves this season also, and i dont understand why he has been moved up ??? Ablett would have been a better option today.

Watching watkins in the reserves he was absoloutly appalling, he tried ridiculous offloads and fancy passes the first five times he touched the ball

and lost it every time.

Defensively, a poor salford side ran in all but one of their tries down his side...he was terrible.....bring back smith for me.

Watkins looked average in the reserves and insisted on throwing it into touch on the majority of his attacking runs
