Biggest joke for me is announcing Broughy as MOM for us - his passing was poor, his kicking was worse and I reckon he bottled a couple of pens that would have put us 18-14 down with about 10 minutes to go and would have racked up a bit of pressure on you.



Congrats on the win, your guys look a hell of a lot fitter than they did when we beat you earlier on in the season, and thumbs up to your support as well - noisy and (mostly) good-natured.

Well i think i'm going to disagree with most (by some comments on hear and the radio). I actually enjoyed the game, not just because of the result neither. I enjoyed watching what was a typical rain soaked derby match. I thought we were the better team, as will most, but i enjoyed watching our youngsters (especially Huby and Westerman) play with pride. I enjoyed watching Huby drive the ball in as though he really meant it, and Westy putting some big hits in across the park. There was lots of other stuff too but you get my jist. Sometimes we all get carried away and want a game to be fast and flowing with loads of tries (maybe we're brainwashed by Eddie ans Stevo) but i enjoyed watching what turned into a good old fashioned bit of tough stuff. On the ref, i thought he made many poor decisions for both sides. I don't think he won it for us but made an effort to have his name in lights and spoil what was always going to be a slower game.

He was MOTM for us.

thought it was a poor game. both sides making far too many errors and far too many penalties, but the best team won on the day. enjoy the win.

The conditions were pretty poor. I think you would have won without Korky and Brough.

That's another thing. Korky hasn't improved much has he? I thought he was supposed to play good at Wakefield because that's where his heart lies?

If he had the heart of Wainwright he would be a monster.

In fairness though, hard for any of our pack to look good when Widders and the rest of them were steamrollering them from the start.



Looked like u wanted it more, made less errors and adapted to the conditions a lot better.

Thought you guys deserved the win 2day we looked very lathargic. Randy Chase was awesome and fat boy Widders did not play like a fat boy at all he had a great game.
