=#8000FFHuddersfield didn't need to try in the second half and just went through the motions, first half they were solid and a couple of mistakes which was understandable other then that the first half Huddersfield ripped Cas to bits and were unlucky to be only 18 up.

Fartown played well and bossed the game. We'd won the battle and taken control in the first half convincingly and looked really fit, strong, organised and well prepared to say its our first hit out in pre season. We looked solid in defence and direct and aggressive in attack. Until we made wholesale changes in the second half we could have and should of had more points. With Wild, Drew, Mason etc to still come in to the team it looks like another good season for us again!!!!

Don't rule out another top 3 finish at least!!!!

Was a very poor performance by Cas. We barely completed any sets and those that did usually end in bad kicks straight down both Hodgsons' throats.



Huddersfield were excellent in defence and really ripped our left wing to shreds. Nothing really to report other than it was disappointingly bad and a LOT to work on for Leeds.

Ganson looked pretty good.

I didnt make tonights game but remember ranting on here last year after we lost pre season to the Giants. I said we were a shambles and the players looked desperately unfit. We went on to have our best season for a decade.



Not dissing peoples views but dont get carried away, its still a pre season game. Its also the same team that won in Perpignan a week ago.



Its a long season and pre season often means little. We were awful pre season and went great, I remember Huddersfield romping in pre season, then losing 8 straight games once the season started.

I think I remember your post Cheshire, you talked about conditioning and how other teams seem to be far 'bigger' than us. I replied in agreement.



I also didn't make tonights game, but the comments here make grim reading. Huddersfield last season were a fit, well built, fast team. Will be interesting to see if our blokes have put any bulk on in the off season.



With all the problems Huddersfield have had, I was expecting better tonight, it's the performance that matters and not neccessarily the result. Doesn't sound like we got either, not good for the folk that paid the £12.
