When he came back this year, he did nothing wrong, but nothing exciting either. I would be very surprised. He would do another couple of years in the Championship, he is a very fit bloke and has had a couple of years rest in union, but he's no longer a top flight winger.

But it isn't, is it? Wakefield NEEDED to make a whole boat load of signings just to become somewhat competitive, Cas have 12 players coming back from injuries.

Probably because you havent, even with your rumoured signings we undoubtedly have a better front row, halfs and hookers than you and we haven't finished our recruitment.

How have you undoubtedly (as you put it) got better front row, Halfs and Hookers than us? Very bizarre statement from a fan of a team that crumbled at the business end of the season. I see no evidence to suggest that you will perform better in them positions than we will. Maybe at half back with Chase but your depth in that position isn't great.

(2) We had more injuries than enough, and had to take players on loan and out of the academy to cover for injuries to our major players



Also, having blooded some of the young guys, we don't need to go on an all-or-nothing trawl through a lot of other people's cast-offs. Wakefield, on the other hand, had a very poor season because they had a very poor squad of players. This is why they've needed to sign a whole raft of new players for the coming season.



It's funny that both yourself and Mr. "newground" didn't understand these basic facts.

By crumbled you mean played with 13 injuries including 4 at prop?



As for better in certain positions:

Chase & Orr are better than Tim Smith & Gareth Moore

Milner & Clark are better than...who even is Wakefields hooker for that matter?

Emmitt, Walker, Huby, Jackson are quite clearly superior to the likes of Liam Higgins.

Most of team we played all season were kids! thompson, milner, clark, massey, walker, eden, arundle, owen, holmes, and davies are all kids.



Kear is a master motivator, i wonder if agar will get you to up your game as much when you play us.

huby, emitt, jackson and walker are better than dowes, higggins, amor and raliegh.

milner, clark with hudson as back up is better than ellis, davey and wood at back up.

orr and chase are better than tim smith and moore.

Don't to forget to add Paul Johnson and Oliver Wiles (possibly Lautiti stepping into the front row) to that list. I would disagree with you all the way on that one. I could be generous and say your four first choice will be on similar ability to ours but as you can see our depth and option of rotation makes me think we are better equipped for the long campaign. Comfortably better equipped I would say!







Or rising star Matty Wilde to step into that position who impressed last year and bags of potential probably more than Milner and as much as Clarke. Motu Tony is also available to cover in that position. Considering our depth is stronger I would again say we are better equipped for next year.









Don't forget to add Issac Luke to that. Plus we have players that are more than capable of dropping into that position such as Wilde, Washbrook and Morrision.



Orr I feel is at the end of the road, he's clearly lost a lot of pace you have to have questions marks about whether he can keep the pace especially come business end of the season. Chase we all know is first class and he is basically a one man band. The lack of depth you have after Chase is a really worry. At least last season you had Widders to drop into that position which I thought was one of the strong features of your game, something that you will miss for sure.



Considering our real strength in depth in them positions it's hard to argue that Cas will be stronger. Just hope your one man Rangi show doesn't get injured because you will be in real trouble then.
