no i disagree the project as failed having so many quality backs ect, rooney is not a 2nd team player yet neither are the rest . if wakefield could transfer this wage to another quality centre/winger then that would be a step in the right direction .

Well i heard last week that this was just a stupid rumour started by MR to cause a bit of speculation, And to make people aware that he may be available to get him off wakeys books.



I would be surprised if we signed him because of this, And he wouldnt fit into our side at all, We need an organiser and He isnt the man to do this, Drew and Brough are the organisers at Wakey, Rooney just backs them up

He maybe just back up at Wakey Dettori, but he's a better organiser/kicker than anyone we have available at the moment, thing is if the news on Sherwin is bad and he is out for the season, we will be in a right old mess, we need an organiser very soon or our season will be over before Shifty is anywhere near ready to return.

Rooney is well off the pace at the minute. He is not an organiser and is too slow in moving the ball. His lack of game time has not helped him. Given 4/5 games he might get alot better but i can't see what he would bring to you that a youngster wouldn't.

He is 4 years younger than Iestyn "chocolate" Harris so Probably would.
