Great draw for Cas, better than some.



I remember the last time i went to Cougar park 1994 and i had a great time ( Cougaaaaaaar tiiiiiiiiiiiime

) what a year for Cas, just a few weeks after we had beat easy wigan in the regal trophy cup final.

That 1994 team was class and i never missed agame back then, lets hope we can get back to them great days for Cas.

Keighley got screwed by the RFL and I bet they'll never forgive or forget.

The score was 52-14 so not quite.

We almost got screwed at the same time, when the RFL tried to merge us with Wakey and Fev, thank goodness we managed to keep our identity, but poor old Keighley were given a really raw deal by the RFL and even now, have probably not recovered.



Always had a soft spot for Keighley, a very friendly club with a compact traditional ground, hopefully we will swell the gate to capacity and create a great atmosphere and put a few quid in Keighley's coffers.



Keighley of course have one of our former players, Barry Eaton, as coach these days, I really thought we should have kept him onboard longer than we did, when we were short of halfbacks a few years ago.

Really? I thought they earned promotion from the second division to the first, and played the following season in the first division.







There just happened to be a new league above that

tb (oneof the best ever trolls on RLFANS) never changes, eh? where was Cas in Calder if certain teams hadn't have kicked off about the original Super League set up?



But a warm welcome to Cas, we'll get beat (probably), but there are a lot of similarities between us and genuine fans will enjoy a good day out whatever the result.



Looking forward to a good game between two true League teams.

i mean come on what if that happened in footy. It just does not work and what have championship league 1 got to play or. ????????????????????????????? thats what makes it exciting. To see clubs gain promotion and heartbreak of relegation.

Technically you're quite right of course...but only technically, not morally or ethically, but then such concepts are soooo last year...



Our normal kick off is Sundays at 3, but who knows on this one? In the last round Pia told everyone the time of their flights unilaterally and that decided the time of the game...c'est la vie, eh?
