Lets be honest we played badly, only 2 players can come out of that game with any credit for me and that was Greenwood and Worrincy, the rest were poor and some very poor - Tamgart, Penky and Blacky.

It was just one of those days, even our new so far reliable goalkicker was off the pace missing 2 then we lose Blacky with a badly bruised foot and we have a new guy at stand off so we had no shape (not his fault he is new to the team).

Sheffeild had one of those days where 90% of what they tried came off, come on where di Gibbo get that pace from???

Thing is we must pick ourselves up and get back to the standard we were at before, starting at Donny Thursday night.

I wouldn't call leading by 1 point a Country Mile. Like most have said - Lets wait and see at the end of the season. Fax, Barrow and Fev could have suffered injuries by then and might not even make the Grand Final.



Do you think a bit of over confidence and complacency has crept in ? Having ran a decent SL team so close this could be the case.

Calland has bigged your team up at the wrong time and heaped loads of pressure on. He practically set you up for the fall and had every supporter of every other Championship club waiting for it !

The Cas game took a lot more out of us than we thought judging by today.

Come on lets not be too down, Sheffield played probably their best game all season today, if not best it will be one of their top 3 best I bet!

We still scored 5 tries and 3 good ones as well, they scored 6 and one was in the very last minute.



Who was No 20 for them as I didn't get a programme as they had sold out again!

Lets hope so. Lets hope we got our butts kicked for it and it will be just what we need to kick on the rest of the season. The season so far has probably being beter than some people have expected and the coaches and players have had the plaudits for it, well yesterday was by far and way our worst performance in quite a while and the players are getting some stick for it, and deservingly so in my opinion. Its how we react from here that is important now. Teams are going to raise there game when they are playing the best team in the league and although Callands comments might not of helped us we have enough quality players not to have to worry about things like that because on our day we can beat any team in this league and beat them well.

Fax's problem yesterday seemed to be that they had no go-forward. They missed Watene badly. You seem to have a small squad and, if you win the comp, it'll be because you've been lucky with injuries. If you don't win, it might be because you've been unlucky with injuries. It's quite a high risk strategy.
