We have this cup called the Challenge Cup with the hope of drawing a big SL team before we get knocked out. I think you have the same sort of thing and i think its called the FA cup where you can hope to eventually play one of the big boys like Eastbourne Borough before your cup dreams are ended.

Are the Quarter finals of the NRC chosen by an open draw? It has been suggested on the Leigh forum that the group leaders are guaranteed a home draw. Anyone?

I do not see how they can have an open draw and still keep it fair if the draw is before the Fax / Whitehaven match. For example (as I understand it) only Position 1 in our group is sorted so the only way they could do a draw is rename the teams P2, P3, P4. In all honesty it is likely that we will beat Whitehaven and finish P2 but if it is more favourable becuase of ther 'open draw' we may in effect be better losing and finishing P4.



It would of been fairer for it to be seeded with 1st in Group One playing 4th in Group Two etc, with the top two of each group having home advantage.
