By the way, why is all the blame laid at Callands door? This team is very reminiscent of teams produced by Martin Hall at Hull KR and Rochdale. May be he has more influence over team affairs than you all think. He is always by the side of Calland at games. |

Agree about Calland..... STOP LAYING ALL THE BLAME ON HIM......time for the players to take a good look at themselfs and be honest that A, the pack is not performing and being to easily dominated, B - you have key players injured at the mo, C - a coach does video work and devizes a plan to beat the oposition and expects his team to stick to the plan (are they doing this).
Get behind the coach and the club as calling for peoples heads doesnt help matters............ Leigh went through it last season and it doesnt help anyone.

Millward has helped but our players will be the first to admit that their efforts last season were not up to scratch and it wasnt all the coaches fault. (a few have told me this)

The good thing at Leigh at the mo is that most of the squad are out of contract at the end of this season............. they don't preform to Millwards expectations they wont be here next season.......... that will drive them to succeed (or at least try)

I wasn't expecting that loss for you guys, and Millward is worth 12 points a game.
The impact he has on average players is immense, for the last few years we have wasted our resources, not any more.

That is what frustrates me at the moment. Fax have great resource available, a good BOD, a good ground, good support, YET we can't utilise this resource effectively to dominate on the field.
