Can I suggest, KCP 1st this aft at 2.30 on the moor, followed by KCP under 8's at Spring Hall tomorrow 10.00 and then a quick dash up to the moor for KCP under 15's?
A veritable feast of Rugby.
Wherever you go enjoy your weekend Rugby everyone.

Great win for the All-Rounders yesterday, best I've seen them in a couple of years I don't really know where that performance came from, maybe HalifaxJohn was their lucky mascot for the day. Looking at Park's beating at Bowling it looks like he chose the correct match to watch for the afternoon. Nat's Whitehall lads got back to winning ways after a stuggle the previous week & I understand the Stainland Stags pulled off a massive win against top of div 2 Illingworth in the local cup, well done to them if correct.
Siddal had a great win at West Hull to keep the pressure on in the Conference top few positions too, they're coming good.

| Went up to Cowling yesterday, what a great set of lads they are. Rarely do they get a full compliment of players but they keep going playing in a great spirit.

| Seeing as this was in the "de-railed" thread, I thought I'd keep this one ticking over on here:
Gingdong "[iChequerfield were never kicked out of the league, The biting bit was on the head of a physio when they were playing Stanningley Crown in Leeds, Crown were the scummiest team iv ever played against, the physio was not an innocent bystander, it was a ball bearing gun not an air pistol it never hit the ref was just fired into the air. Throwing punches and trying to bully goes on in a lot of games, we played them in Ponte 1st game of the season beat them no problems. the lads told me themselves they had a tougher dirtier game in Greetland last Sat. Chequerfield had a few games running were they got some bad press and gave them a bad reputation, undeserved in my view i could name you many teams and clubs much, much worse than them and not all were from the old Yorks league"[/i
Gingdong, did you not make the trip over to Greetland last saturday ? 'cos I watched the game with HalifaxJohn & it was far from that description in all honesty, Greetland are in the main a bunch of kids who have lost several lads recently who've gone on to Uni & it's weakened their side somewhat in terms of rugby. There was only one Greetland player who at any time was over-aggressive for a couple of minutes but other than that the visiting side were indisciplined in most ways giving away far too many penalties, although the high shots appeared to be lazy rather than malicious hits & it was Greetland's far superior energy & enthusiasm which got them their win rather than any other reason. It seems a far more competetive division 3 this season than what i saw last season.

As you know Colin I usually watch another team in a higher division. So as not to upset anyone I will not name that team. My honest opinion is that if on their day Greetland would beat a few teams in the division I am talking about.
Will continue to watch the other team at home but if away I will certainly watch Greetland at home.
Where else could you find a father who's son is playing in an international prefering to watch Greetland.
As he said "you know me Colin, Greetland through and through"
Bloody hell 2 mins gone Unt down by 1.

Yes, a good idea, BUT, I feel a bit uneasy going to Queensbury, the supporters, aren't they all over weight, unshaven tatoo'd and wearing Bulls shirts? and as for the men?

Yes i managed to make the game, You miss my point, the game wasnt dirty at all but was still dirtier than when we played Ponte social away, so what does that say about them? Im just trying to point out that round these parts and with people that have played in the old Yorkshire league Chequerfield were never known as a bad team, not even in the top 20 worse teams. The guy on the other thread names some one that got racially abused there, but he must realise that was very common a few years back i played with a West Indian half back and he was abused everywhere including in Halifax but it never bothered him, made him laugh, i myself have been racialy abused at Queens. As for Saturday We were terrible our body language from the off was bad, we were lethargic and seemed uninterested, we had an half decent team on paper but didnt perform, they have been beasted with tackle bags tonight because of that performance, think the return might be a bit closer

Last 3 years the 1st team have come 1st and 2nd twice so thats hardly travel sickness, what we have suffered from is 15 players leaving us in the summer to start Knottingley Rockware up, but we are slowly rebuilding, the reason we lost last week was because they played shiiiite and some of them looked like they couldnt be bothered
