Not much cup final excitement in Derbyshire at present so getting up there on sunday and being around fellow Fax fans will be a blessing

I remember staying behind and watching the Whitehaven -v- Leigh match after we beat York in the 2004 play off. If I recall, Tommy Martyn snatched it 11-10 with a drop goal. I remember thinking at the time what a great atmos it was, and .... despite us being in the same division ... how much better drilled Leigh and Whitehaven were than ourselves. Ironically, despite my euphoria of survival, I was finally convinced Faz's days were numbered ....

Oh the pain, it was norman Turley, 16-15 up with 1min 50 secs to go and he does what he does best.

extra time was 1 wau traffic, but the thoughts going through my mind when we went 16-10 up with 9 to go will live forever, despite the fianl score.

Leigh were better team all season and deserved the Victory ( there I have said it doctor

)

Probably the best , tense'st final for many years before and since , with possibly the 2000 final between Dewsbury and Leigh on a par with it as the scores level with 2 minutes to go and Richard Agar kicking a last minute drop goal to win it



If we had won that one we might possibly have had a few more years in SL as the club was on an upward path at that time

See, had Haven been in the final I would be supporting them over you because they are Cumbrian. There are some cracking Haven supposrters who I am sure will be wishing us all the best. I would think most supporters from Yorkshire are willing you to win which is what I would expect...........Not coming on Barrow's board with rallying calls. I am not trying to hijack anything and as for getting over yourself, you wanna give the same message to your Coach who midway through the season did every other coaches team talk for them with his ridiculous statement !





I actually admire how much you Yorkshire lot support each other, simply because of boundries on a map.
