The point is the word " suspected " was never even used and Dick Jones has also said more than once she was using the words of Paul Rowley then we had a post up in arms saying Barlow was attacked from behind he didn`t use the word "suspected "either ,what really hapened was a differant story .Then we get accused of being the scum of rugby league well I`ve moved on too and I`m just glad we don`t have to be bothered with the " soap style "story lines that follow Barlow around anymore .

Agreed, ignoring opinions....that was one BAD tackle, some Fax fans seem to forget this. The 'fractured skull' rumours would had not been an option, if it had just been a 'bad tackle'. I know Manning has not murdered anyone, but let's at least admit he deserved his 10 game ban, or if not 7,8 or 9.

Opinions re` justification of ban fair enough you think 10 ,I would say less than that 6 .

Like I say I like most have moved on , glad we don`t have him to disrupt things at our Club anymore , feel sorry for the lad really ,always came across nice enough just lets people get into his head that`s all and there are always people about unfortunatly that take advantage. I hear he now thinks he`s replacing a certain forward due to retire at Leeds next year , maybe you can tell me if that is fact ,opinion or just another falsehood whichever is the case good luck to him .

I am so sorry Sam Barlow did not suffer a 'fractured skull' or 'bleeding on the brain'.

This will be my last post on this thread. We all need to move on. I certainly have. It seems despite me correcting my post, and apologising for stating it was a tackle from behind when it wasn't people are still referring to it. So once again I posted after having only 1 chance to see it in real time and got it wrong. I will reply also to an earlier post about a leigh player coming in 3rd man and rabbit punching a fax player. I will be honest and it probably won't surprise you but I didn't see it, however if you say you saw it then that is good enough for me. It's a shame it hasn't been put before the disciplinary panel too and dealt with accordingly. One final point - we will all disagree over the tackle that is the way it is, however irrespective of the timing and meaning of comments about fractured skulls and bleeding on the brain surely the fact that was suspected speaks volumes.

Try using the whole quote "glad we don`t have him to disrupt things at our Club anymore" and I agree with this. Sam, when on form, could be a brilliant forward. U nfortunately he could also be a liability and a serious disruption with some of his off-field antics!

Like I said before if he had a bleeding brain he would be playing SL, not pretending clubs wanted him.

Why 5 matches for fighting. Seems severe considering we see fighting in alot of games. Alot of which goes unpunished. Think the rules need to be clear and then it would not be open to question.

No brainer really-he was wearing a blue and white shirt,played for the 'Scum of Rugby League ' and Big Nige the king of the RFL world passed his judgement to his minions to put Manning and Fax to the sword.

He probably got 3, the same as Haggerty for the initial brawl, then they added two when the fool went back again instead of walking off - imo based on Haggerty's 3 he was lucky not to get more for this charge



Anyway move on - Barlow missed 2 games due to the 'tackle' but is back this weekend apparently and you guys have one hell of a game against Fev to look forward to with top 2 now a real option - especially if we beat them in August
