Just started to come down from the cloud that took over my life from about 8.45pm on Thursday!!
I came to the game on Thursday night feeling hopeful, worried and just looking for a good performance and left a heavily pregnant wife on the sofa!! - Even the Mrs said she was going to watch the game on Sky from home too!!
8.45pm - The wife is sat watching at home, gets a little excited and goes into labour (I get a phone call)!! - I manage to stay and see us put in a superb performance and WIN a fabulous game of Rugby League and leave the ground feeling so proud to be a Halifax Fan.
1.39am - My son Charlie Jack Smith is born weighing in at 7lb 10oz and I can't wait to order his very first Halifax kit!!
Real whirlwind since he was born as only able to bring him home at noon today as he wasn't feeding great at first but he is having his bottle next to me now in his blue and white striped babygrow!!
So Thank you Halifax RLFC, you really did change my life on Thursday!!
When can I buy my tickets as a non season ticket holder?
