Our good friend and lifelong Halifax RLFC supporter Caliban has sadly passed away yesterday, my thoughts are with his family & friends at this terrible time.

R.I.P. mate, I'm glad you left this world as a champion, 'cos you were a champion bloke.

What a sad, sad week for rugby league mate.

I never knew he posted on here, a few members of our party Sunday knew him and made a banner for him which they know he did get to see on Sky and loved and they made sure he was a big part of the day which was very touching, a sad loss so young and my condolences to his family.

Id just like to echo that.

I saw the banner and didn't realise the significance. I was acquainted with him from his time on the committee of the West Riding Youth ARL when he took on the role as chairman when no-one else would.



He will be missed.

Very sad news, been to numerous games with Pete, some brilliant memories. Such a great guy, and always in a top mood. RIP Pete you will be missed.

I dont think I knew him but sad to hear the death of anybody. The impact it has on family and friends can never be properly known.
