just been on our forum that our game against you on the 21st Aug is now being played on thurs 18th and its on sky, 7.30 ko.

Typical, at this rate we will be on TV for nearly all our remaining games this season, Plays-offs included. Marvellous Sky / RFL, whoever it is who decides these days (I really couldnt give a t**s), make Halifax play every Thursday night

Oh come on York on a Thursday night? Surely not, sod off Sky leave our game to the Sunday date when we can have a leisurely trip to York. Not struggle round Leeds on a Thursday teatime!

Flaming hate Thursday games, clash with my sons cricket, so I can't go and he can't ball boy.

Please leave us alone to play on Sunday's, obviously the RFL don't like us but I reckon someone at Sky must think we are worth watching. Or just want pee us off even more.

Very surprised at that as I'd been told that the Championship game was to be screened on the Saturday that week?

Guess we'll wait and see then.

It is on York website but nothing on ours. Am very surprised since that's the night they're supposed to be launching James Haley's testimonial.

Just out of interest, can we actually tell them to f*** off and refuse to play on the Thurday? or was this stated under condition 4093 of the RFL's guidebook that you have to play when they choose

If you refuse the fixture switch then it's up to the RFL to decide....so you've no choice, basically.

Viewing figures probably. Fax play entertaining Rugby + York & Halifax have large populations if you include Sowerby Bridge, Greetland, Elland etc.



Leigh is a small town in Wigan MBC same size as Dewsbury & Batley.

Featherstone is a street in Normanton with a similar population as Elland (wiki'd it)

Barrow has dodgy floodlights & is a logistical problem for Sky.

Toulouse is a no-go for Sky.

Batley & Dewsbury made up of swathes of council estates & slum terrace housing (ie. No Sky Sports TV in most homes!)

Hunslet a suburb of Leeds

Sheffield a football city.

Widnes SL next year.



So it would make sense Fax v Widnes & York v Fax will attract the most viewing figures & higher viewing figures are more favorable to TV advertisers.

Bit harsh, but this proves two things and makes a mockery of the RFL yet again treating us like lepers.

Toulouse are never on SKY so why have them in our league then RFL???

We are on Sky more than most outside SL so why is that RFL?

Maybe because people actually want to watch Halifax?

Yet the RFL insist we are not worthy and are a wart on their nose.

The facts are yet again ignored by Fat Controller and his entourage of minnions.
